At the 2026 ConnexFM National Conference, W Services Group’s Director of Emergency Services, Tiffany DeLoney, recently participated as part of a panel of industry leaders leading an engaging and interactive education session titled Holy Moly Mold, focused on the critical coordination and communication required during emergency response situations. Tiffany, who is IICRC Certified, brought extensive industry expertise and real-world experience to the session.

Centered around a simulated flood incident at a local surf shop, the session challenged attendees to step into the roles of key stakeholder groups involved in disaster response and recovery. Participants were divided into teams representing facility managers, vendor and management teams, store staff/landlords/customers, and corporate and compliance teams. Each group was tasked with completing RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) forms based on the unfolding incident scenario.

Throughout the session, Tiffany served as a wealth of knowledge, helping guide the vendor and management teams through the complexities of the scenario. Drawing from her extensive emergency services experience, she encouraged thoughtful discussion, asked strategic questions, and helped participants work through challenges to arrive at the right conclusions collaboratively. Her ability to lead the conversation while keeping the session interactive and engaging created a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.

The hands-on format encouraged collaboration, problem-solving, and discussion around the unique responsibilities and perspectives each stakeholder group brings to an emergency event. Through the exercise, attendees gained valuable insight into how clear communication, defined accountability, and strategic coordination can help minimize disruption and improve response outcomes during incidents involving water damage and mold remediation.

The session sparked thoughtful conversations among attendees and highlighted the importance of preparation, partnership, and proactive planning in emergency services. By combining real-world scenarios with interactive participation, Holy Moly Mold delivered an educational experience that was both informative and impactful.

W Services Group is proud to have contributed to the learning and professional development opportunities at the conference and appreciates everyone who participated in the session. We are especially proud of Tiffany and the knowledge, leadership, and expertise she brought as part of the panel leading this impactful educational experience.
