Leader in Kindness Award

W Services Group is proud to announce the third annual Lawrence W. Whelan Leader in Kindness Award! This meaningful recognition, named in honor of Lawrence Whelan—the father of our President and CEO, Matthew Whelan—celebrates employees who go above and beyond to make a difference in their communities.

The award reflects the values instilled by Lawrence Whelan, who inspired those around him with his kindness, generosity, and leadership. It’s a reminder of the impact one person can have, not just within a company but also in the world around them.

This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate six exceptional recipients who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to helping others. Each winner will have the opportunity to make an even greater impact, as W Services Group will provide a donation to the charitable organization of their choice; TNR Taskforce, Our Lady of The Rosary Knights of Columbus Council 4428, Junior Welfare League of Huntington, Pride for Youth, Branches Long Island, and Kelly Brush Foundation.

The winners and their selected charities were announced at the 2024 Annual Meeting, where their incredible stories of service and compassion were shared with the W Services team.
